What are the Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission in PCCOE?
1. Eligibility for B. Tech Admission
For the first-year B. Tech admission to Engineering, the eligibility is as follows:
- The candidate should be an Indian National or from any region of India.
- He/she should have passed their HSC examination with compulsory subject as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. He / She should have at least 50% marks (45% for Backward Classes or Persons with disability).
- Or The person he / SHE should have passed the diploma and have obtained at least 50% of the marks.
2. Eligibility for M. Tech Admission
- Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant subject of Engineering and Technology from an AICTE or a Central or State Government authorized institution, or an equivalent degree, with at least 50% marks (at least 45 percent marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only)
- Scored in the IIT’s Graduates Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).

1. Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities
This department was established in the year 2002, with a student intake capacity of 60. This department is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. The DTE Code for this department is 6751 for PCCoE College. This department’s aim is to deliver value-added quality education that fosters basic technical skills, critical thinking, communication skills, and human values in order for students to make significant contributions to society.
2. Department of Mechanical Engineering
A key goal of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering is to produce engineers who are capable of taking a product from idea to market. With expertise in Design, Production, Manufacturing, and Thermal, the department has highly qualified and experienced faculty. Project-based learning is inculcated in students by the department’s enlightened faculty. As part of the department’s planning process, the program outcomes are clearly defined and all the necessary initiatives are taken to facilitate them.
3. Department of E&TC
Engineers with the highest skills and caliber are produced by the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
