B. Tech, or Bachelor of Technology, is a four-year degree programme given at colleges throughout India. A B. Tech degree is regarded as one of the most difficult degrees in India. The competition is fierce, and only individuals who achieve excellent grades in their qualifying tests are admitted to these programmes.
The management quota system was implemented in Maharashtra State engineering colleges in 2009-2010. This quota was put in place to encourage students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education. The management quota is determined by the financial situation of the student’s parents/guardians.
Management quotas are classified into two types: A and B. The government offers scholarships to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds through this programme. Only undergraduate courses are subject to the management quota system.

Eligibility For Engineering Management Quota Admissions 2025
- The candidates must have passed Class 12th with a minimum of 45% to 50% of marks.
- Candidates who are waiting for Supplementary results of Class 12th can also apply for admission. However, the admission will be granted only after the candidates submit Class 12th pass certificate.
- The candidates must have all the documents specified by the college to get admission in B. Tech.
- Students from different states can apply for B. Tech management quota admission in any state across the country.
